Welcome to Solterra Vizslas! 
We breed very limitedly and strive to produce versatile Vizslas with sound health and temperament. We require health testing, OFA hips and thyroid as well as CERF, on all of our dogs who are used in our breeding program. Our dogs are proven in many different venues from hunt tests, field trials, NAVHDA trials to shows, rally, obedience and trick dog tests. We are avid wild bird hunters as well, always using a Vizsla for what they were bred to do- HUNT! And of course first and foremost, they are our family members and pets.

We are active members of the Rocky Mountain Vizsla Club (RMVC), both having served on its board of directors, in addition to serving on the committees of many events held by the Club.  We are also active members of the Vizsla Club of America (VCA) and the Rocky Mountain NAVHDA Chapter. Most recently, Erica has become an AKC licensed Hunt Test judge.

Our Vizslas have enriched our lives in so many ways. From the people we have met, to the activities our pups have brought us to, each experience has added so much to who we are as individuals and as a family. We can't imagine our world without our red kids.
